- Consultation and development assistance for web sites and web resources, including graphic design, layout, and organization
- Web solutions built and maintained with modern technologies and mainstream frameworks
- Reliable web hosting, including:
- Configuring, administering, and maintaining web servers and system software
- Scheduling and conducting regular site backups
- Providing superior uptime and site recovery
- Administering secure authentication with multi-factor access
- Website maintenance, including:
- Scheduling and conducting quality assurance checks
- Ensuring structure and content meet NSHE accessibility requirements
- Installing software and plug-in updates and patches
- Securing systems to prevent unauthorized access
- Support for web content managers on tools and resources
- Support for web content managers on best practices in accessibility
- License and contract management for web resources, such as frameworks, themes, and plug-ins
Client Responsibilities
- Provide an authorized point of contact for communication and requests
- Provide web content managers as necessary for the scope and dynamic nature of the website
- Provide initial and ongoing website content
- Ensure content providers and content managers understand web accessibility and develop and publish accessible content
- Notify SCS of any significant updates or changes to a website
