Scope
System Computing Services provides:
- Monitoring of power, climate, access, and other environmental controls
- Fire detection and suppression system
- Stable and redundant electrical power with UPS and backup generator
- Floor and rack space
- Network connectivity to NSHE NevadaNet with redundant high-speed Internet connections
- On-site physical security including key card access and video surveillance monitoring
- Published maintenance windows and change management procedures
- Access to the data center 24 hours per day, seven days a week
Client Responsibilities
- Provide personnel contact information for emergencies, support, and data center access to be updated quarterly or as changes occur
- Provide design parameters for electrical power, network bandwidth, and other installation requirements
- Provide 90-day advance notification for review of large-scale colocation changes, such as addition or removal of racks or increased power or bandwidth
