About the Project
The Nevada Vision for a co-Developed Impactful Cyberinfrastructure Ecosystem (NV-DICE) project is a technology collaborative thinktank with institutional leadership across NSHE, UNLV, UNR, and DRI. This group aims to build an effective, efficient, and empowering tech environment to benefit researchers and educators in higher education across Nevada.
This two-year National Science Foundation grant creates an engaged statewide IT community to foster capacity-building of information, tools, community support, and framework foundation.
Project Goals
This project’s goals are to create the following across NSHE IT with a focus on UNR, UNLV, and DRI:
- Research Alignment with Team Science
- Research-Facing Technology Community Creation
- Cyberinfrastructure Assessments for Strategic Planning
- Focus on Federated IT Architectures
- Science and Technology Plan Development
