System Computing Services provides:

  • NSHE workstation endpoint management, including:
    • Device requirements, specifications, and standards
    • Purchasing and inventorying
    • Imaging, configuring, and securing
    • Setup, initial login, and orientation
    • Deploying critical security updates and patches
    • Remediating vulnerabilities and exploits
    • Ongoing user support
    • Warranty repair and replacement coordination
    • Repurposing and secure disposal and surplus
  • NSHE-issued mobile device support
  • Best-effort BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) mobile device support
  • Printer and office peripheral device support

Client Responsibilities

  • Install operating system updates regularly
  • Follow equipment care and maintenance guidelines
  • Initiate all support and service requests with the Service Desk
